11/18/08 GOTR

Girls on The Run! Maddie has been participating twice a week for an hour in GOTR. The girls get together and play games and learn how to be healthy and about manners, being nice, all that good stuff. Then they run. They all set a goal of running/walking 3 miles tonight and they all did it! I ran with Maddie and every girl had a running buddy (most all were parents!) Maddie is ready to run again in the Spring and we will get some running in this winter hopefully!

11/15/08 Circus

It had been two years since we last went to the circus, so we decided it was time! It was a Mom's day out with the kids. The girls really enjoyed getting together with Brandon and Brittany!

Brittany and Melanie rode the elephant! You will have to look at The Turner Tribes blog for that!

The Elephants are always a favorite!

11-8-08 Nat's Birthday

Kent and the kids came home to celebrat Nat and my birthday. THe girls took Natalie to build a bear for her birthday. She managed to pick the Hannah Montana bear (do yout think that decision was influenced by Maddie and Melanie?)

10-26-08 Fishing

Not too often fish are biting in October. We hadn't been back to Macomb in awhile and the girls thought the fish would be biting. They were right!

10-31-08 Trick or Treat

We continued our tradition of trick or treating with the Powers, the Wyatt's and Gracie Chunes. We missed the Kreidlers!
