Feb 16, 08 UIS STARS

Friday night the girls practiced for 3 hours. They learned a cheer and dance (to Hannah Montan) and performed them the next afternoon at the men's UIS basketball game. Melanie kept saying she didn't want to, but she ended up having a lot of fun.

Feb 4, 08 Snow Sculpture

It took a couple of days for the snow to be packable, and it only lasted a day before it rained and warmed up!

Jan 30, 08 Melanie's Birthday!

We celebrated for an entire week! The weekend before we had cake and ice cream with family at Grandma and Grandpa's.













On the day of Melanie's Birthday we went out to eat at TGIF's (Of course I fogot my camera). Afterwords we had a brownie and sang Happy Birthday at home. Melanie is wearing her had they gave her at school, and a necklace with a big 6.


















Last but not least, we celebrated with her friends at Build-A-Bear.....................















Then we headed home for cake and ice cream! Robert mad a littlest pet shop cake.

Jan 26, 08 Student of the Week

Maddie was beginning to think she would never be student of the week :-) Maddie was excited to be the student of the week and we enjoyed our pizza together (I wasn't late either!)

Jan 26, Jump IN

Maddie's Brownie Troop went to an event in Sherman where they watched a double jump team and then learned how to double jump themselves. They also got to make a jump rump and learn some games to play and get exercise at the same time. It was a lot of fun.

Jan 7, 08 - Decatur Children's Museuem

This was the girls last day of Christmas Break, so I took the day off and we headed to Decatur. This wasn't really planned, but worked out great. My Aunt had left something at our house yesterday at our Christmas Party so we met her half way in Decatur, had McDonalds and then played. The girls had a blast and keep asking when we are going back.
