The big day at the American Girl Doll Store! Finally!
We went on Sunday morning, and if your ever going to go I would highly recommend Sunday morning! The cafe was full but I think that was all who was there afterwords shopping! I thought the price was a little high, but the food was great and I think it was worth it.
Grandpa and the boys joined us. I thnk they were ready to get out of the doll store!

First stop right out of the cafe is the .....!
Natalie's Bitty Twin got two ponytails!
This is Melanie's new doll (she shopped that quickly) and she didn't want her hair done.
Maddie brough Julie which she got from Santa just last year so her hair is in pretty good shape. She got a little french braid with a pony tail (this was before).

Can you guess who took the longest to spend there money.
Melanie spent her money in oh, about 10 minutes and insisted on paying for it right then. She bought a new just like you doll, the sleeping bag and a bunny and duck for her bitty baby. She later found a dog she exchanged for the duck. She wanted to buy them right away so she could open up her doll. Maddie, well she could have taken all day. She bought mostly all clothes for her dolls. The mermaid outfit, Julies Birthday dress, a swimsuit. She also got the guitar and a dog.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE MONEY FOR OUR BIRTHDAYS TO ENJOY THIS DAY AT THE AMERICAN GIRL DOLL STORE!

On Friday we went up to visit Kent and the kids in Evanston. We met Terry, Beth and Charlie Friday night at Gurnie Mills, but I forgot my camera! Saturday we went to Shedd Acquarium. Of course the first thing we ran into was the face painting booths. They actually did a really good job.
These fish are really floating this way!
We almost didn't get a seat for the dolphin show and we were there 40 minutes before the show started!
Hanging out after the show, waiting for the crowd to thin out.

This is a picture out of Bonnie's back yard Easter Sunday. I was trying to get the a male cardinal and he flew away everytime I opened the door.
We almost didn't have the egg hunt, but finally decided to hide some inside and the other 100 we will hide on Mother's Day! The girls colored eggs at Grandma Dorothy's and she forgot to take pictures.
